Position Description
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions :
The incumbent will be responsible for ICS III Course oversight as well as Coordination of Interprofessional Activities. University of the Pacific recognizes that diversity, equity, and inclusion is foundational to the success of our valued students and employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Coordinate content of Themes with content experts.
- Manage course material posting on the Canvas educational management system.
- Oversee continual course assessment and revision.
- Facilitate creation of assessments in conjunction with Theme presenters.
- Deliver course material in various formats including lectures, seminars, and clinic sessions.
- Teach in ICS I, II, and other Diagnostic Sciences activities as designated by Chair.
- Clinical teaching as designated by Chair in Main Clinic in San Francisco and Sacramento campuses.
- Participate in School Functions as directed by School Administration or Department Chair.
- Perform all duties as assigned by the supervisor, including assisting with administrative tasks and supporting project management.
- Travel to Sacramento campus when required for cross-campus initiatives.
In addition to the duties of course direction for ICS III, the incumbent will lead efforts to enhance Interprofessional Education opportunities.
Additional Elements :
Regular teaching evaluation will be provided by the Chair of the Department, peers, and students. It is expected that the incumbent will produce scholarship per the University and School of Dentistry guidelines. Participation in service activities is expected.

Hiring Range : $135,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year.
