Job Summary:

University Partners is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Content Specialist to join our team. This individual will manage our Learning Management System (LMS), Gracehill, and create engaging learning content, including e-learning courses, live trainings, and recorded videos. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, content creation, and video editing, with a strong preference for proficiency in Adobe Suite, Articulate, and video production tools. This role will require travel to various student housing communities to deliver on-site training and ensure consistent learning experiences across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• LMS Management:
• Serve as the administrator for Gracehill, overseeing content uploads, user management, and system updates
• Monitor LMS analytics to track engagement, completion rates, and learning effectiveness
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support for users
• Content Development:
• Design and develop e-learning courses using Articulate and other tools
• Create instructional materials, job aids, and resources tailored to property management staff
• Record, edit, and produce training videos, leveraging Adobe Suite and video editing software
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance
• Training Delivery:
• Facilitate live virtual and in-person training sessions for on-site employees
• Travel to student housing properties to deliver targeted training and support new initiatives
• Adapt training approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners across various roles
• Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through feedback and performance metrics
• Stay current with trends in instructional design and learning technologies
• Provide recommendations for enhancing learning experiences and engagement

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field (preferred)
• 2 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or a related field
• Experience managing an LMS (Gracehill experience is a plus)
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Articulate (Storyline, Rise) and Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
• Strong video editing skills and experience creating multimedia content
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards
• Other Skills & Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to various properties
• Passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences
