TelevisaUnivision Human Resources Department is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team! This is a part-time position.
ABOUT YOU:

YOUR DAY-DAY:
Assist the HR Manager in managing the temporary and seasonal workforce, as well as providing support to HR Business Partners throughout the employee life cycle. Responsibilities include overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes, managing payroll and timekeeping, and addressing employee relations matters to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
HRIS Management
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR systems, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of employee data.
- Oversee and process workflows related to employee onboarding, I-9 verification, changes, extensions of assignments, and terminations within applicable HR and IT systems.
- Manage and maintain accurate, compliant employee records in accordance with the company’s retention policies and practices.
- Generate monthly custom reports and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests as required.
Recruiting/Staffing/Onboarding
- Prepare and initiate offer letters, ensuring that new hires receive all necessary onboarding documentation.
- Initiate and oversee the background check screening process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business clients to process requests for temporary and seasonal employees, ensuring timely and efficient staffing solutions.
Projects / HR Knowledge
- Support the rollout of Talent Management and HR teams’ programs and projects as assigned, contributing to successful implementation and execution.
- Stay informed and up to date on new regulations, company policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards.
- Attend and actively participate in required training courses related to Human Resources to enhance knowledge and professional development.
YOU HAVE
Required Skills & Experience
- Recent graduate or 1-3 years of relevant work experience (Human Resources degree preferred but not required).
- Prior experience working with award shows and live events is preferred.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of discretion and handle confidential information with care.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to stay calm under pressure and manage a heavy workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Open to traveling as needed to various locations for onboarding new hires, attending meetings, or supporting special project work.
- Highly flexible, with the ability to quickly shift priorities and focus in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proficiency and experience with ADP, Workday, and Kronos HR systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in the media and communications industry preferred.
- Spanish fluency is preferred.
