Social is the heartbeat of Unwell. A Social Media Specialist for Unwell not only needs to live and breathe pop culture, but also possess the ability to create highly engaging content across relevant social platforms in a timely manner. Social Media Specialists are responsible for daily curation and programming of multiple show accounts within the Network. Success will be measured by community-building metrics; including follower growth and engagement. Social Media Specialists report to the Director of Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Propose, create and post innovative social content for assigned IP
- Establish a weekly social content calendar for Unwell’s shows
- Track performance of posts for reporting purposes as well as to help improve and iterate upon the content feed
- Engage followers (as appropriate) within comment threads
- Capture content live at Unwell events for real-time posts
Qualification and Required Experience
- Professional experience in video creation / editing on social platforms
- Proven track record of producing highly engaging content from scratch
- Work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with little supervision
- Ability to incorporate feedback while on approval process deadlines
- Experience with video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro or an equivalent software
- A firm understanding of the best use practices for social media networks such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube, etc.
- Complete understanding of filming, editing & posting from an iPhone on Instagram, Tik Tok, & Youtube
- Experience working in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- A high degree of drive, energy, accountability, and initiative
- Hate to say it, but honestly – a social savant who can do it all
