Job Description :
- Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
- Monitor telemetry equipment, ensuring accurate readings and patient safety.
- Deliver care to patients undergoing pre or post-surgeries and EMT surgeries.
- Conduct procedures such as colectomy and trach care.
- Collaborate as a team player within a mixed acuity environment.
- Adhere to dress code with galaxy blue scrubs or galaxy blue top with black bottoms.
- Manage patient ratios varying from 1 : 4 to 1 : 6.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Float within the unit as necessary to meet patient care demands.
- Work every third weekend based on unit needs.
