Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (Neuro Stroke)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years
License : Active RN License
Certifications : BLS & NIH required, ACLS preferred
Must-Have : Experience in progressive care with stroke and neuro patients
Job Description :
- Work in a 25-bed unit specializing in neuro stroke care.
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment.
- Collaborate with a team and float between all mixed acuity units as needed.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 5.
- Adhere to the dress code with Galaxy Blue or Black pants and Galaxy Blue top, and matching scrub jacket.
- Wear appropriate footwear suitable for a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care activities.
