The Van Patten Golf Club's 1st Assistant Golf Professional will help lead the Golf Staff in providing exceptional customer service to all its Members and Guests. A professional and friendly demeanor on a daily basis is essential for success in this position.
The popular Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park, NY, is a unique 27-hole privately-owned public Championship Golf Course with a country club atmosphere. Located in beautiful southern Saratoga county, this scenic course is undergoing a complete redesign by the legendary Rees Jones, Inc. to meet today's standards of playability. This is a very active club with more than 45 tournaments and 60 leagues.
Compensation: $25,000-$35,000 per year, plus 100% lesson income

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage daily tee sheets and advance booking tee times
- Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Assist in tournament operations and weekly events
- Assist with men’s, women’s, and junior golf events and programs
- Act as the PGA Jr. League Captain
- Act as manager in the head professional's absence
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Hard-working team player with a strong attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Able to multi-task.
- PGA Members & Associates preferred
This is a full-time seasonal position that runs from March 1 to November 30.
