JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Classroom Monitor
Reports to: Assigned Teacher(s)
Evaluator: Elementary Principal
Job Objective: This position provides assistance and supervision for children during daily classroom activities, lunch and/or assigned recesses to ensure a positive and safe environment.
Minimum Qualifications: • Meets highly qualified standards. Valid state department of education license/certificate appropriate for the position.
- Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, ).
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board
- Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job

Essential Functions:

- Supervises students in front of the school either before or after school as determined by the Principal.
