Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse setting.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts including order pickers, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate records
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling heavy lifting tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
- Proficient in using mechanical equipment and tools
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification or training in forklift operation is a plus
