About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Architect / Interior Architect to join our team in New York City. Our firm specializes in high-end commercial and luxury residential renovation projects, focusing on creative reuses of existing spaces.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded designer with strong technical expertise who is eager to grow within our firm for the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design process for luxury commercial and residential renovation projects
- Develop and produce comprehensive construction document sets
- Engage in the full project lifecycle, from concept through completion
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution
- Oversee and participate in construction management, including site visits and contractor coordination
- Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
- 7 years of experience in luxury commercial and/or residential architecture and interiors
- Extensive experience in construction documentation and detailing
- Strong understanding of construction management and site coordination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes and permitting processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
