About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Architect / Interior Architect to join a team in New York City. As an Architect of Record (AOR) firm, they specialize in high-end commercial and luxury residential projects, focusing exclusively on renovations and adaptive reuse—no ground-up construction.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded designer with strong technical expertise who is eager to grow within this firm for the long term.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to the design process for luxury commercial and residential renovation projects.
- Develop and produce comprehensive Construction Document (CD) sets.
- Engage in the full project lifecycle, from concept through completion.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee and participate in construction management, including site visits and contractor coordination.
- Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
