About the Role:
The Clinical Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing all clinical operations within the practice. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of 15-20 clinical staff, collaborating closely with physicians, and ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently, empathetically, and with the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinical workflow and operations to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 15-20 clinical staff, including Medical Assistants and other clinical support roles
- Collaborate with physicians and administrative leadership to support daily operations and patient care needs
- Handle and resolve patient concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management for clinical staff
- Anticipate operational challenges and proactively create solutions
- Maintain clinical policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Support hiring, onboarding, and staff scheduling
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Maintaining and ordering clinic and drug inventory
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical management or leadership experience in a medical office or outpatient healthcare setting (Urology or surgical specialty preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage clinical staff
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patient concerns with kindness, empathy, and professionalism
- Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance
- Licensure or certifications (CMA, LPN, RN, etc.) strongly preferred
