What this job involves - The Scheduler Planner has wide ranging responsibilities for the Structural, Plumbing and Fire Life Safety Maintenance Program including CMMS Administration at the assigned account.
What is the day to day?
- Manage and assign work duties to the Building Maintenance Technicians as well as have a hands-on role in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all facility operating system
- Ensure all JLL and client safety procedures are followed.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and support after-hours building related activity as requested.
- Continuously evaluates current maintenance, operations and reliability methods and implements changes to enhance effectiveness at increasing value-maximizing performance.
- Foster a culture of proactive behavior by inspecting buildings and all related infrastructure for preventative repairs
- Identify cost savings opportunities within the maintenance program while maintaining 100% uptime.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned portfolio supporting CMMS systems related questions, including maintaining, reviewing and updating current CMMS information.
- Actively supports an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence and personal success.
- Assist the Site Facility Manager and Operation Leader with operational recommendations such as Operating Expense Projects and process improvements.
- Interact with external and internal customers with a positive demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationship through due diligence and concise communications.
- Develop strong partnership with client through trust, actions and results
- Act as an ambassador for JLL, adopting and maintaining the firm’s core values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence
Desired experience and technical skills -
Required
- 1-3 years in facilities maintenance, business operations or equivalent work experience.
- High School Diploma (College degree, military or equivalent experience preferred)
- Willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling multiple tasks while meeting timelines
- Extensive building systems knowledge, preferably with CMMS, work order systems, BMS and controls
- Client service-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Advanced computer and office software skills (Office 365, Maximo and WebEx preferred)
Preferred
- Experience with Maximo CMMS
- Experience in Pharma, Biotech or similar life science sector that are governed in GMP regulations systems within a manufacturing facility and processes
