The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations of a growing automotive group. This role will support and coordinate a variety of HR programs, processes, and policies, while collaborating with the HR Director to monitor and ensure compliance. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Compensation: $26-$33/hour

Compensation: $26-$33/hour
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Tracks and monitors compliance and HR (and related) needs at all business locations, and proactively and frequently updates HR Director.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Collaborates with department heads to ensure that job descriptions are regularly reviewed and updated as duties change, and roles evolve.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
- Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes and required paperwork.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR. Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations when necessary.
- Prepares and proofreads a variety of communication material and general correspondence, such as employee letters, internal newsletters, announcements, and more.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
