Job Summary: The Vice President of Operations for Florida supports the growth and ongoing operational success of US Eye, leads collaborative efforts to drive impactful strategic and operational outcomes, provides oversight and guidance to departmental operations at all locations within the Florida market.
Essential Job Functions:
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operational goals.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems.
- Ensures that all locations and physician teams are appropriately organized and staffed.
- Recruits, trains, and oversees director and management-level staff in assigned departments or regions.
- Oversee the delivery of excellent customer service within each department as evidenced by achievement of and compliance with company standards and policies.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to increase operational efficiencies.
- Establishes key performance indicators and monitors performance to proactively identify productivity gaps and propose solutions.
- Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, physicians, staff, vendors, and patients.
- Drives process improvement resulting in improved patient satisfaction, increased clinical revenues, improved staff efficiency and reduced costs.
- Ensures attainment of budgeted financial performance goals
Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of ophthalmology/optical vision care management and business operations
- At least 10 years of previous management experience within a multi-site ophthalmology/optical vision care organization
, - Strong financial management and budgetary preparation and analytical experience
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective, results driven leader.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, problem solve and think strategically.
- Ability to build and foster strong working relationships with physicians and staff at all levels
- Strong level of business acumen and analytical skills, including the ability to intelligently use data to drive key business decisions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of practice management and EMR systems
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- The position requires candidate to be local to or willing to relocate to the Sarasota/Bradenton FL area
