What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nail Tech position at US Foot and Ankle Specialists?
Nail Tech Required Education, Skills and Experience:
● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, other employees, and the public
● 5 years of pedicurist experience
● Active Nail Technician license from the designated state
● Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
● Must have excellent customer service skills
● Must have a team mentality, flexibility and willingness to learn
● Must be personable, dependable, and punctual
● The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
● Technologically savvy and familiar with programs including:
o Google Documents
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Excel
Nail Tech Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
● Ordering of supplies and new equipment as needed
● Ensuring exam room(s) is(are) up to State Board standards
● Train new employees
● Work directly with Office Manager/Area Manager/Providers to ensure smooth workflow
● Provide a quality nail experience while wearing a smile
● Treat patients with compassion and respect
● Sterilize all instruments after use
● Maintain the cleanliness of the office
● Comply with all state guidelines
● Maintain cleaning logs and sanitation records
● Work cohesively with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
● Scheduling appointments
● Maintain autoclave cleaning log
● Other duties as assigned
