JOB PROFILE: OFFICE ASSISTANT & BOOKKEEPER
The Office Assistant and Bookkeeper is a detail-oriented multitasker who loves to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This hybrid role is the heartbeat of our office operations, juggling everything from organizing office tasks, data entry for the procurement department, to keeping our books balanced and clean. Whether you’re welcoming guests, managing office supplies, or making sure invoices and financial records are spot on, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and efficient work environment.
WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED (Minimum Requirements):
- 1 year of experience in general office administration
- 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
WHAT SETS YOU APART (Preferred Requirements):
- 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with modular construction or manufacturing environments

WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):
- Perform general office duties including answering phones, greeting guests, and managing office supplies
- Record and categorize financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with employee expense reimbursements
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems
- Prepare financial reports for management
- Coordinate team events and office meetings
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Data entry for procurement/receiving departments into company ERP and spreadsheets
- Ensure office equipment is maintained, and service requests are handled promptly

SCHEDULE:
- Full-time or Part-Time (20 to 40 hours/week); in office
COMPENSATION AND CAREER GROWTH:
- $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
- Opportunities for performance-based increases
