Facilities Maintenance Role Overview
This role is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of our facility, ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining equipment at maximum efficiency by minimizing downtime.
  • Performing general and preventive maintenance, including rack repair.
  • Administering daily log check sheets and building maintenance tasks.
  • Ensuring proper operation of forklifts and large industrial Battery maintenance.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Tech school graduate in Diesel, Electric/Mechanical, or Auto Mechanic.
  • 4-5 years of experience in mechanics, electrical, welding, or maintenance.
  • Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
  • Ability to work in cold environments and perform repairs on lift trucks, dock equipment, and freezer doors.

Additional Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of battery maintenance, daily logs, and light lift truck maintenance.
  • Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, see, speak, and hear.
