Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining equipment at maximum efficiency by minimizing downtime.
- Performing general and preventive maintenance, including rack repair.
- Administering daily log check sheets and building maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring proper operation of forklifts and large industrial Battery maintenance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Tech school graduate in Diesel, Electric/Mechanical, or Auto Mechanic.
- 4-5 years of experience in mechanics, electrical, welding, or maintenance.
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
- Ability to work in cold environments and perform repairs on lift trucks, dock equipment, and freezer doors.
Additional Skills:
- Basic knowledge of battery maintenance, daily logs, and light lift truck maintenance.
- Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills.
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, see, speak, and hear.
