Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual with good work habits to maintain the efficiency of our facility. This role requires someone who can work well with others, is self-motivated, and has basic electrical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment at maximum efficiency by minimizing downtime.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance, including rack repair.
- Administer daily log check sheets and building maintenance tasks.
- Ensure proper operation of forklifts and large industrial Battery maintenance.
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Tech school graduate in Diesel, Electric/Mechanical, or Auto Mechanic.
- 4-5 years of experience in mechanics, electrical, welding, or maintenance.
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
- Ability to work in cold environments and perform repairs on lift trucks, dock equipment, and freezer doors.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of battery maintenance, daily logs, and light lift truck maintenance.
- Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills.
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, see, speak, and hear.
