What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Analyst position at USLI?
Position Summary: Review collection letter emails daily. Preserve customer service quality standards and consistency through daily contact with the customer, broker, or insured. Resolve insured’s or customer’s inquiries daily to maximize collection accuracy.
Essential Functions:
- Review collection letter emails daily –
- Verify the collection letter for accuracy
- Add the collection information to the rolling list
- Email the appropriate collection agency weekly their balances to begin external collections
- Track the collection process
- Close out and document paid accounts
- Contact underwriting teams for appropriate endorsement issuance
- Correct our invoicing through premium data entry technicians
- Call the insured, customer, or finance company to provide explanation or obtain supporting documentation
- Respond to voicemail and email messages the same day as they are received. If a resolution is not possible, provide the customer with a resolution timeline.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with various annual statement responsibilities as needed
- Assist the accounts receivable team with cash posting and account reconciliation
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Specific Skills: Basic computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and Quickbooks, basic math skills, basic oral and written communication skills, organization, and attention to detail – negotiation skills

Working Conditions: Weekend or evening overtime availability during the first quarter
