What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gastroenterology Researcher position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive & Liver Diseases, is seeking a faculty member with a focus on research. The position requires doctoral degree in biomedicine such as MD, MD/PhD, or PhD (or equivalent degrees), completion of a post-doctoral research fellowship, and the ability to establish an independent and externally funded research program. The areas of research that we seek should be relevant to basic pathobiology of GI or liver disorders. Basic research programs are preferable, but translational research will be considered. In addition, the faculty member will be involved in the teaching and training of students and trainees of various levels, including graduate and medical students, and clinical and post-doctoral fellows.
