Primary purpose is to assist with Residential Construction member service activities. Ensures that service is delivered professionally and efficiently, and that members’ problems are resolved promptly. Ensures that members receive excellent service through available servicing channels.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE : Familiarity with customer service.
MS Excel
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Residential Construction experience helpful.
Real Estate experience helpful.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Well organized.
Solid communication abilities.
Able to meet deadlines.
Able to use PC and basic business equipment.
Physical Activities And Requirements Of This Position
TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

- Assumes responsibility for day-to-day construction servicing activities.
- Responsible for processing all construction draw requests.
- Ensures that borrower provides all needed tax information for each contractor or sub-contractor in accordance with UCCU policy.
- Ensures good relations with all borrowers, contractors, and sub-contractors where possible.
- Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations exist with members, vendors, credit union staff, and trade professionals.
- Ensures that requests and questions are promptly and courteously resolved.
- Ensures that members are properly informed of Credit Union loan policies and procedures.
- Ensures that the Credit Union's professional reputation is maintained both internally and externally.
- Represents the Credit Union in contacts with business and trade professionals.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Credit Union personnel and with management.
- Develops a solid understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Assists and supports personnel as needed.
- Completes reports and records.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Stays informed regarding developments and changes in the mortgage field.
- Assists with publicity, education, and promotion of the Credit Union. Cross-sells services.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Works a regular and predictable schedule.
- Mortgage services are efficiently and effectively provided in accordance with established Credit Union policies and standards and with applicable laws and regulations.
- Problems are closely tracked and effectively resolved.
- Good business relationships exist with vendors and lending personnel.
- Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
- Good business relationships exist with members and their lending needs are properly assessed and met. Effective financial counseling is provided as needed.
- Professional business relations exist with members and external trade contacts. Questions and problems are promptly and courteously resolved.
- Effective working relations and coordination exist with department and Credit Union personnel. Support is provided as required.
