Pay is negotiable and depends on electrical industry and/or sales management experience. Although experience with sales in the electrical industry is preferred, we are willing to train an ideal candidate that has an excellent track record in sales management.
UTB was founded in 2008 and is a nationwide distributor of electrical transformers. Our customers include electric utilities, electric contractors, and industrials. Our inventory of products keep the lights on across the country! As a Sales Manager, your role will be to work with the sales people to set goals and increase sales. We are looking for a sales manager who is a strategic thinker and knows how to get the most out of their sales people.
Your responsibilities will include the following
- Implement sales strategies
- Training sales people
- Setting goals
- Reviewing quotes
- Building relationships with customers
- Building relationships with vendors and negotiating pricing
- Being involved in high profile customer orders
- Helping sales people convert opportunities to orders
- Sales people onboarding and reduction of force
- Pricing Approval
- Daily outreach to key customers
- Manage pricing blankets from vendors
- Quarterly reviews with sales people
- Manage sales people customer outreach focus
- Hold a weekly meeting with sales people
- Participation in trade shows as needed
Qualifications
- Travel quarterly with sales people to see customers
- Sales Management or Sales experience in the Electrical Industry
- Proven track record of increasing Sales
