Job Description
REPORTS TO: Production Manager
REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE: M-Th 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
Qualifications
3 years of experience: injection mold maintenance and injection molding processing
Effective communicator
Likes being part of a team to accomplish goals
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Able to work with minimal supervision
Takes initiative
Safety focused including PPE
Skills
Organized and able to prioritize
Strong mechanical abilities & knowledge- preferably in Injection Molding
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Performs meticulous, detailed, precision work
MOLDS
Responsible for mold changes/setups and machine processing and troubleshooting to standards
Responsible for mold disassembly, preventive maintenance, and proper reassembly.
Maintain all molds by 1. Proper disassembly, preventive maintenance, and reassembly, 2. Proper
mold storage, 3. Thorough mold inspection for defects/damage
PROCESS
Responsible for properly setting up, starting, and optimizing injection molding machines, and auxiliary equipment to ensure quality production and cycle times
Ensure new job start-ups run correctly, and molded parts meet requirements, troubleshoot and make adjustments as necessary
DOCUMENTATION
Maintain detailed mold records including set-ups, preventative maintenance, damage, and repairs
Maintain process records and procedures
MISCELLANEOUS
Suggest and Implement improvements for better efficiency, quality, and safety
Keep work area clean and orderly
Monitor, train, and coach the machine operators
