UTZ Quality Foods is looking for a Health & Wellness Coordinator to join our team in Hanover, PA. The Health & Wellness Coordinator is responsible for promoting and supporting the health and well-being of all associates of Utz Quality Foods, LLC for the purpose of improving health outcomes and lowering employee and employer healthcare costs. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in health education, public health, nursing, social work, or other healthcare related field, five or more years of experience in wellness program development, and job expertise, knowledge and a high level of confidence to act as an advisor and advocate at all levels of the organization. This position requires a high level of trust, compassion, initiative, judgement, and credibility to serve the interests of all UTZ associates while maintaining confidentiality. This position directly reports to the Director, Health & Benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordination of company-wide health and wellness programs based on population health and healthcare claim analytics.
  • Gathers feedback and measures success of health and well-being programs.
  • Coordinates and communicates the annual Wellness Rewards program.
  • Assists with communicating health and wellness programs and benefit point solutions.
  • Organizes and oversees company-wide preventive screenings.
  • Collaborates with Director of Benefits and business partners in assessing ways to improve culture of health and well-being and engage associates.
  • Identifies and integrates ways to address social determinants of health and DEI in the health promotion and benefit programs.
  • Promotes and oversees the Utz Fitness Center. Performs new gym user orientations and serves as ongoing resource.
  • Acts as a resource for Utz associates to understand their healthcare choices and make informed decisions as healthcare consumers.
  • Assists in coordinating travel and travel reimbursement with Center of Excellence programs.
  • Assists in coordinating and tracking return to work accommodations for non-Work Comp issues.
  • Collaborates with Leave Management team and other stakeholders on safe, appropriate ways to return associates to work.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in health education, public health, nursing, social work, or other healthcare related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in wellness program development.
  • Demonstrated job expertise, knowledge and level of confidence to act as an advisor and advocate at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to be a trusted and credible resource for all associates.
  • Strong commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Requires good judgment, initiative and a compassion for the interest in all Utz associates.
  • Requires good administrative skills, teaching methods along with record keeping and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and use of appropriate medical terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to facilitate follow-up with associates.
  • Able to work independently and exercise good judgment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude that is reflective of the Utz culture.
