Job Description :
- 2 years of Orthopedics PA work experience is required (not including training)
- Shift choices : Four 10hour shifts or five 8hour shifts
May be assigned to Ortho General Surgery Urology or ENT
Provides needed procedures including assisting in surgeryPerforms procedures diagnostic procedures and therapeutic procedures within scope of practiceAssists in room setup and turnoverPerforms other duties as assignedAssists operative team as directed by OR manager and charge nursesCustomerservice orientedAssures proper sterile techniques at all times in surgeryEffective verbal and written communication skillsMaintains confidentiality thinks and acts independently with minimal supervisionMaintains regular consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job locationPossesses interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patients families other healthcare staff and other departmentsTakes personal responsibility for ongoing educational growth and collaborates with others to provide solutions for continued patient qualityBasic computer skills.
