About V-Soft Consulting: V-Soft Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for our IT Staffing division. This is a pivotal role with the responsibility of driving revenue growth and expanding our footprint in the assigned territory.
Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in establishing strategic priorities to foster revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on creating and nurturing new customer relationships while maintaining and growing that business once won. This role requires demonstrated experience in direct staffing and a proven track record of building a successful book of business. You will work closely with the management team to devise both near-term and long-term plans to achieve the company's goals, all while enhancing our value-based brand with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently increase revenue through the acquisition of new staffing, digital, and infrastructure business and the expansion of existing accounts.
- Partner with recruiting teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customer requisitions.
- Maintain data consistency and integrity.
- Schedule and conduct qualification calls to gain precise job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures for accurate matches.
- Research and identify potential new business opportunities and develop relationships with current customers.
- Ensure the completion of all required sales reports and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into V-Soft’s CRM and other automated systems.
- Focus on business development and diversification aligned with regional and national strategy.
- Create and maintain business plans utilizing our CRM (Bullhorn), targeting new accounts, and mapping territories and calendars comprehensively.
- Actively participate and maintain membership in networking and niche IT organizations.
- Meet weekly appointment activity and revenue growth targets.
- Regularly communicate with your manager and the internal staff to prioritize customer service and business/sales opportunities.
- Provide detailed information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals within the assigned territory.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in servicing, supporting, developing, and generating new business and major accounts.
- Demonstrated experience in direct staffing, specifically within IT, with a proven track record of building a successful book of business.
- Technical staffing experience is highly preferred; however, experience in engineering staffing will also be considered.
- Experience working with sales tools such as Bullhorn, LinkedIn, Appollo, ZoomInfo, etc. preferred.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive sales experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Strong technical staffing background, preferably in IT.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
