The Child Care Front Desk/Teacher Aide is responsible for ensuring the safety of the children while tending the front desk. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with food preparations, cooking and ordering
- Assist teachers with project preparations
- Decorate lobby according to monthly themes/ holidays
- Classroom duties as staffing and business volumes dictate
- Maintain lobby and front desk area
- Providing coverage for teacher breaks
- Contributes to daily tasks such as recycling, laundry and dishes throughout the day, general cleaning
- Maintain the reservation system, reports and files and prepare paperwork to expedite the check-in process
- Promptly answer facility phone with friendly, polite and proper phone etiquette
- Promote all Vail Resorts, Inc. services and products to satisfy and exceed guest expectations
- Deliver unparalleled guest service
- Provide current guests with updates on their children
- Provide guests with information about the resort and town
Job Requirements:
- Colorado State Early Childhood Teacher qualified, preferred
- Level 1 Credential, preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Background checks, fingerprint checks, reference checks required
- Experience with children required
- Diaper changing required
