The Child Care Teacher is responsible for creating a welcoming first and last impression. This position starts at $11.15 per hour. This indiviual will be responsible for exceptional experiences for the children and guest centered communication with all parents. Capable of working in a team environment. Additional responsibilities include(but are not limited to):
- Administers quality care and exceptional experiences for guest children and parents
- Maintains accurate records of daily schedules for each child
- Is able to problem solve with sad and difficult children while remaining calm
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, parents, and supervisors; Provides effective and thorough check-ins and check-outs guest parents including report cards for each guest child
- Conduct child observations daily and lesson plans weekly
- Capable of working in a team environment; including flexibility of working at other child care centers when needed
- Maintains a safe and comfortable environment
- Contributes to the daily tasks for the center including cleaning schedules, dishes, laundry, etc…
- Occasional front desk and phone coverage
Requirements:
- Experience working with children ages 0-5 years old in a licensed group (4 or more) setting is required
- Fluent in English required
- Changing Diapers required
- Flexibility & On call shifts
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with guest services
- Creativity with Children and Curriculum
