Kitchen Supervisor - Broken Arrow - Full Time, Winter Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO

This is a supervisory position for the cooking function, with direct reports. Ensures the efficient operation of the cooking team during assigned schedule. Responsible for hiring/staffing, scheduling and performance management/evaluations. Also fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed, and is thoroughly familiar with all areas of food preparation/restaurant operations.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Communicates with supervisor to insure proper management of staff and projects.
- Assists supervisor to hire, motivate, evaluate, and direct staff to ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established goals and objectives.
- Ensures that all employees receive the training, support, guidance, feedback, and resources necessary.
- Responsible for providing quality guest experiences within resort operations.
- In absence of the managers, ability to delegate responsibility, motivate and lead direct reports to achieve goals and objectives.
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental standards and OSHA regulations.
- Understanding of corporate and resort specific policies and procedures.
- Assists in providing quality to guests by directing staff in meeting quality standards and food handling and preparation, safety and sanitation.
- Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
- Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
- Prepares food for guest and employees by following cooking procedures. Places and displays foods in serving containers.
- Fills customer requests by arranging chosen food items, adding prescribed garnishes, and handing meals to customers.
- Maintain food line by notifying prep cook of shortages and replenishing food at workstation.
- Protects customers and employees by adhering to all sanitation policies and procedures; maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
- Flexible working hours.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent - required
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English - required
- Three to six months related experience in a supervisory role and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - required
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and to perform strenuous physical labor in inclement weather conditions - required
- Flexible working hours, including holidays and weekends - required
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure/high volume and solve customer problems or issues - required
- Good organization and strong attention to detail - required

- Ability to communicate with employees, guests, and customers to provide excellent service - required
