Night Security Officer- FT - Seasonal - Kirkwood - CA
Job Summary:
The Security Officer is an entry level role responsible for the protection of company property and interest. Our ideal candidate demonstrates diligence and integrity, while enhancing guest experiences. Assistance will be available to obtain California guard card to qualified applicant. Position pays base wages plus on call and call out pay.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Nightly pick up and transfer of deposits.
- Door checks of all resort facilities and properties.
- Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
- Assist / interact with guest and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code.
- Respond to and investigate incidents and accidents.
- Submit thorough and clear reports
- Cooperate with law enforcement in investigations
- Regular inspections and policy enforcement in housing units
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift and carry 25 lbs
- Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently
- Able to pass background check
- Clean and current drivers license
- Able to work outside in varying and extreme weather conditions
- Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain California Guard Card
Preferred skills:
- 1-2 years Guest Service experience;
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel)
Job Dates:
Depending on weather conditions, term of employment is mid-November 2014 through April 2015.
