- Identifies and manages project resource needs and goals - strategies, staffing, scheduling, issue resolution, contingency plans, communication plans, and change control
- Report on progress (status, next steps & issues) to the CEO, CFO & Senior Site Director
- Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project
- Provides support for capturing current workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and developing future workflows
- Conducts project “lessons learned” sessions and creates recommendations report to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Establishes project governance with key leaders and stakeholders and facilitates governance activities to ensure leadership effectively clears roadblocks and promotes the success of the project
- Coach and support teams as they work with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success.
- Guides team in the maintenance of project management guidelines, training programs, policies, and procedures.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering preferred OR engineering background with experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
- Project Management Certification (PMI) required
- 7-10 years in program management or project management roles, preferably in the chemicals manufacturing space
- Proficiency in change management techniques to facilitate cultural and organizational shifts
- Demonstrated experience of coaching organization on PM best practice
- Highly organized and proficient in project planning to ensure that objectives, timelines and budgets are met
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
$100,000 - $170,000 a year
Salaries for all position are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, total years of experience in the industry, education, skills, and qualifications. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate's individual background and expertise.
