Description
The majority of work is performed in shop conditions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on plating machinery, tanks, rectifiers, and other equipment according to established schedules and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and participate in troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes of issues.
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on plating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Technician I and III to support their development and enhance the efficiency of maintenance activities.
- Assist in equipment installations, disassembly, and assembly tasks as required by the maintenance team.
- Help maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop technical skills and stay current with industry best practices.
- Support senior technicians in identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, modifications, or enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.
