About the Role
As a Server at Valentino, you play a crucial role in curating a seamless and exceptional dining experience. You will anticipate guests' needs, manage the table with precision, and ensure every meal is presented with grace and professionalism. We are looking for individuals who are attentive, team-oriented, and obsessed with delivering outstanding hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver superior service, creating a warm and memorable experience for guests.
- Guide guests in food and wine selections, offering knowledgeable recommendations.
- Ensure proper execution of fine dining etiquette and steps of service.
- Communicate guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Maintain a polished table setting, promptly clearing and resetting as needed.
- Efficiently process orders using the POS system and accurately handle billing.
- Adhere to food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining grace under pressure.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of fine dining experience is required.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, Italian cuisine, and fine dining service standards.
- Warm, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume setting.
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Proficiency in POS systems is a plus.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are a must.
