What are the responsibilities and job description for the APU Quality Manager position at Valeo?
-Monitor and validate the conformity of components, products / processes in production
-Customer interface for quality matters (current production)
-Ensure that the quality system is respected within the activity
-Manage Physical Indicators for the Activity
-Develop and coordinate the activity quality improvement plan following guidelines from the Product Line, Regional Operation, Group and Product Group and promote quality culture in coordination with the Site Quality Manager
-Ensure that QRQC is implemented well
-Support the site 5 axes improvement plan
-Manage quality network within the activity:
-Challenge SQA network to obtain FTA in time and confirm PDCA action
-Sport the Quality PTM for P0, in P1 launch team
-Laboratory and calibration when relevant
-APU Quality Engineers & Technicians
-Quality System Engineers &Technicians
-Super-control / firewall
-Support SQA technician management in daily supplier incident management (5W2H) and QR validation
-Participate in the RU ready / launch meetings
-For modifications, ensure the respect of the 4M procedure
-Represent customer within Valeo on quality matters (communication / escalation)
-Manage the quick responses for incidents (CLR-Logistic) internally and with customer, and support the team analyzing the incidents
-Contribute to warranty treatment activity (detection, communication, QRQC)
-Represent quality in technical committee when and / or site change committee
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality
Minimum of 5 years experience in operational position in automotive industry
