Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Merchandising Sales Representative to join our team in the Central Maine Area! As a Merchandising Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling, maintaining and enhancing the presentation of our diverse beverage portfolio within assigned retail accounts. Your main goals will be to sell our products to large format stores, restock shelves, arrange and maintain displays, implement merchandising strategies to drive customer engagement and provide excellent customer service to both our retail partners and consumers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective presentation and promotion of our beverages, including beer, wine, soft drinks, juices, water, and energy drinks.
Responsibilities:
- Execute merchandising plan by ensuring correct product placement location, stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring that all POS and pricing is displayed correctly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail store managers and staff, becoming a trusted resource for product knowledge and brand information.
- Inspect the codes dates while stocking shelves and rotate the product as required.
- Identify opportunities for product placement and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to always ensure availability of products.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized back stock area.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proven ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with retail partners and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in sales or retail merchandising, preferably in the beverage industry is beneficial.
- Passion for the beer/beverage industry and knowledge of different beverage styles and brands.
- Monday through Friday schedule consisting of approximately 45-50 hours per week
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy cases off the ground and above head.
