VCSB is looking for a Specialist to join our Mental Health Skill-Building team! The Specialist provides direct, independent living skills-building services to individuals in their homes or in the community.

Summary of Essential Functions
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of clients within the program.
- Participates in the development of individual service plans.
- Supports clients through goal-directed skills training and advocacy.
- Provides crisis intervention as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
All applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications in order to be considered qualified for the position:
- An associate’s, bachelor, or master’s degree in human services or related field from an accredited program,
- One year of direct clinical experience serving individuals with mental illness,
- QMHP, QPPMH, or QMHP-eligible, and
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
