Sales Associate/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while handling transactions and maintaining a well-organized sales environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a visually appealing store layout.
• Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote sales effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• A proactive approach to stocking products and maintaining store organization.
• Enthusiasm for selling products and assisting customers in finding what they need.
