The Clinical Manager provides direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24-hour accountability. Participates in development and management of the budget.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
Experience
5 years of staff nurse experience with progressive clinical management skills required
1 years of demonstrated leadership skills by functioning as a resource/charge RN for at least one year is required
Certification & Licensure
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia is required
National Certification by specialty organization is required within two years of hire
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved is required. * New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
Qualifications
Knowledgeable in the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological stages of human growth and development.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in planning, implementation, managing.
