Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery at Valley View Medical Center
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages. This role requires clinical competence, collaboration across disciplines, and advocacy for patient well-being while adhering to hospital policies and nursing regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages.
- Clinical competence, collaboration across disciplines, and advocacy for patient well-being.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree in nursing or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- An active RN License from Arizona or a compact license.
- Obtain Basic Fetal Monitoring within 30 days of hire.
