**Job Summary**
Registered Nurses in Labor and Delivery provide high-quality care for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages.
They collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care and advocate for the emotional and physical well-being of mothers and infants.
A minimum of an Associate's Degree in nursing and an active RN License are required, along with various certifications related to maternal and newborn health.

We are a state-of-the-art hospital licensed with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an eight-bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit.

Requirements
- Clinical competence and efficiency in care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn, as defined in hospital and departmental policies, professional practice, standards/guidelines , and the Law/rules regulating the practice of Nursing (AZ board of nursing website)
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
- Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have an active RN License from Arizona or a compact license
- Must obtain Basic Fetal Monitoring within 30 days of hire
