Support Staff
Location: Valley-Wide La Junta, CO
Vacancy: Full-Time, Onsite
Pay Range: $16.00 $20.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

What Youll Do:
- Provide exceptional front desk support by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls professionally.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and directing them to appropriate financial resources.
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure timely updates in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Support clinic operations by verifying provider schedules, responding to interdepartmental requests, and assisting with daily administrative tasks.
- Reconcile payments and ensure proper handling of cash, credit card, and check transactions.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure a positive, patient-centered experience.
- Provide cross-clinic support within the same service line (Medical, Dental, or Behavioral Health) as needed.
What You Bring:
Experience & Skills:
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, human services, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate professionally in person and over the phone.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work.
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
Education & Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid Colorado drivers license with ability and willingness to travel (if required for the role).
