Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Drive month-end close activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance.
- Oversee GL functions (fixed assets, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) and daily cash reporting activities.
- Prepare financial statements and support reporting/audit activities.
- Manage tax documentation and filing of tax returns.
- Support insurance renewals, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Ad-hoc reporting, accounting project support, and technical assistance for team members.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; active or inactive CPA a plus.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public accounting background.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting concepts.
- Distribution or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Tech-savvy with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
