Our client seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and purpose-driven team in Salem, Oregon.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger accounting for a portfolio of entities, including monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support the month-end close process, including preparing financial statements.
- Process intercompany transactions, provide general accounting support to department managers.
- Utilize Great Plains and Excel (intermediate level) for daily accounting functions and reporting.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany accounting, and/or overseeing full accounting operations for a department/group of a larger organization.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, balance sheet management, GL accounting, and month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in Great Plains and intermediate Excel skills.
- Prior payroll experience and/or ADP exposure a plus.
- Organized and deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
