Our client is seeking to hire reliable Fulfillment Associates to join their growing team. This position is responsible for the fulfillment, tracking, and inventory of materials and products in compliance with the state rules and regulations, the movement of products among their facilities, and the data tracking management systems to accomplish these tasks.
The successful candidate will possess a passion for organization, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to fine details, and a willingness to continually learn more about this unique industry. (Flexible Availability Required)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory of all Cannabis products by conducting daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State of New York.
- Track sale of all products as they leave the facility.
- Ensure tracking logs for Supply Chain are accurately documented.
- Conducts regular duties in a manner that demonstrates a clear understanding and importance of inventory controls.
- Properly maintains their area's tracking as product enters and exits department.
- Immediately report any discrepancies to the Supply Chain Lead, escalating to the Supply Chain Manager for further action if it cannot be resolved within a 24-hour period.
- Timely and accurately completes order fulfillment, labeling, and packing according to supervisor's direction.
- Performs quality checks on all orders prior to final delivery.
- Assist Supply Chain Delivery team when needed which may include an occasional ride along with Delivery Drivers.
- May support other departments when the need arises.
- Other duties as needed.
Desired Experience:
- Must be 21 years old or above
- Must be able to go through state guidelines to work in the cannabis industry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or related area.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically with Word and Excel
- Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Extensive math skills are required for inventory, projections, measurements, calculations
- Skill in managing physical resources (budgeting, inventories, equipment, materials)
- Ability to focus; Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and absolute reliability and honesty
Physical Requirements:
- Extended time standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
- A close visual focus required
