What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Production Specialist position at Vanguard Dealer Services?
Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position:
Under general supervision of the Vice President of Operations, this position is responsible for activities related to printing, packaging and delivery of sales fulfillment booklets.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily printing operations of Inline Data Systems.
2. Preparing and processing materials for printing.
3. Operating devices and equipment involved in the print production process.
4. Reviewing printed products to ensure high quality.
5. Ordering materials necessary in the print production process.
6. Maintaining and building vendor relationships involved in the print production process.
7. Working efficiently to ensure maximum booklet output.
8. Work with print vendors to resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
Allocation of Time: 1
1. Daily printing and mailing of booklets 80%
2. Supply ordering 10%
3. Working with vendors 5%
4. Working with internal team members to resolve issues 5%
- Experience working in a fast paced, multi-task environment is a plus.
- Average experience required in Windows, Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel.
- Must possess excellent customer service, oral communication skills.
- Prior print production experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in direct to consumer vehicle service contract industry is a plus.
- Some college coursework is a plus.
- Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently as well as being a team player.
- Must have the desire to learn new tasks and work on projects that may be out of your comfort zone.
- 15% of time may be spent communicating with third parties via phone, letters, fax, and e-mail.
- Daily interaction with in-house personnel.
- High level of interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to analyze and assist with solving complex problems.
- Must be able to recognize and meet print production needs while staying compliant with external parties needs and company policies
