Vantage Logistics is seeking an enthusiastic leader for a full-time position as a Logistics Supervisor in Fort Myers, FL.
Vantage Logistics, established in 2014, is headquartered in Sunbury, Ohio, with a satellite office in Orrville, Ohio. Earlier this year, we expanded by building a new office in Fort Myers, Florida. This location is currently staffed with a small but dynamic team, poised for significant growth into 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Function as the primary support point of contact for assigned Account managers and Logistics coordinators, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and support Account managers to build strong relationships with clients, to understand their needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
- Monitor client performance metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for clients, highlighting service offerings and value propositions.
- Conduct regular account reviews to discuss performance and strategize for future growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position Vantage Logistics in the market
- Supervise and lead a small team of Logistics Coordinators and Account Managers, ensuring the office is operating efficiently
- Contribute to logistics operations, including tracking, load coverage, carrier compliance, and other tasks as necessary
- Assess daily load coverage and ensure the team is prioritizing their tasks effectively
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive workplace that reflects company values and mission
- Manage employee performance, productivity, and provide coaching as necessary
- Assist with training of new hires, as well as continuous learning initiatives to develop and mentor the existing team
- Provide coaching on relationship-building with carriers, ensuring that Logistics Coordinators are booking regular carriers and using carrier sales techniques
- Meet with each team member regularly to review priorities, challenges, and productivity
- Monitor daily reports to verify team members are on task and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Consult with Human Resources to review performance and productivity for employees, delivering coaching or corrective action as needed
- Collaborate with management for staffing, scheduling, and other organizational planning as necessary
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures
- Offer guidance and support for carriers and customers, ensuring we are exceeding expectations and following industry best practices
- Utilize our Transportation Management System (TMS), McLeod, as well as external websites and systems
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company
- Experience with McLeod preferred
- Commanding leadership skills to motivate teams and maximize productivity
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
