Note: Onsite role – Hybrid possible (3 days onsite).
Description:
Our client is seeking an entry-Level CAD Technician in their Raleigh, Winston-Salem, or Charlotte, North Carolina offices. As CAD Technician you will prepare engineering and construction drawings for projects including the design of water, sewer, and force mains, wastewater lift stations, water pump stations, and other utility projects.
- Preparing engineering and construction drawings using company CAD standards, direction from the project manager and lead CAD staff
- Interpreting sketches and markups, incorporating them into design sheets
- Applying revisions from markups and checking work
- Managing files according to company CAD standards
- Preparing final drawings
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in CAD, preferred
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Revit
Preferred:
- 1-9 years’ overall CAD experience (Levels I, II and III are determined based on years of experience)
- Experience with Civil 3D application is strongly preferred, and experience with Autodesk Revit (or just Revit) would be a big bonus. General AutoCAD experience is fine as well, and they can train on Civil 3D; they will likely be moving to Revit, so that’s why that would be a bonus.
