Our client, a well-established organization in Houston, is seeking a talented ERP Application Administrator to join their IT team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the technical and functional support of their Epicor ERP system and related applications, with a focus on the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical and functional support to end-users on the Epicor ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage system configurations, user access, and security.
- Implement enhancements, customizations, and process improvements within Epicor.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and other IT teams to optimize ERP performance.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide valuable business insights.
- Potentially provide end-user training and support the creation of training materials.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in an application support role.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering an ERP system, with a strong preference for Epicor.
- Experience supporting manufacturing modules within an ERP system is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
- Experience with ERP system configuration and customization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
