About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tier 2 Service Technician to join our IT team and provide exceptional technical support to our users across multiple locations in the Baltimore area. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the potential to become a permanent role. You will work closely with our current Tier 1 technician and play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations across our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Work collaboratively with the Tier 1 technician to ensure timely resolution of all support requests.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential IT problems, minimizing disruptions to end-users.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of our IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, and security.
- Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge sharing to improve team efficiency.
- Travel to different locations within the Baltimore area on a regular basis to provide onsite support (reliable transportation is essential).

- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Proven experience providing Tier 2 technical support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (essential for traveling between locations).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
