Desktop Specialist – Shreveport, LA
We are seeking a Desktop Specialist to provide top-tier technical support to end users, ensuring seamless operation of desktop systems, applications, and hardware. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise in desktop environments, operating systems, and IT support. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain desktop applications and software.
- Provide hands-on and remote technical support for all levels of end users, from frontline employees to C-suite executives.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
- Manage the employee lifecycle support process, including onboarding, workstation setup, and offboarding procedures.
- Administer printer support, including maintenance, toner replacements, and service call management.
- Assist with periodic inventories of IT resources.
- Travel as needed (10%) to support local sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of IT support experience in a corporate environment. Relevant education or IT certifications are a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Android, iOS, and printer management.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assist users at all technical levels.
